Front Tube Fenders
« on: July 13, 2011, 10:23:20 PM »
I'm going to be running tube front and rear fenders. I'm really liking the T&T Customs full replacement tube fenders. I currently don't have my stock fenders so I can't fabricate my own unless I come across a set for cheap. What do you guys think about these?

Key Features :

Stretched wheel well allows running larger tire without altering existing suspension system
Zero wheel coverage for an aggressive look
Integrated inner fender has room for mounting all accessories
    Fenders jig welded and assembled
No special tools or talents necessary to install
    100% bolt-on installation
    Made in the USA

"Full Replacement" Tube Fenders

Always the innovator, we test our parts all over the country in numerous environments to bring you the best parts! Our ideas are our original designs, not copies... Through feedback from our customers and from our own experiences we are proud to release our GEN II 100% bolt-on tubular fenders. The changes to these fenders are subtle, most won't even recognize them - but they're there. The wheel opening has gotten larger by making changes to the construction and assembly of the fenders. With these subtle changes we've made the "other guy's" high fender kit obsolete. 35 X 12.50 tires on a stock sprung Jeep is possible. We put our dollars into R&D not advertizing. Our parts are tested and work in real world.
Same Lift, Larger Tires

T&T Customs' GEN II Tube Fenders for your Jeep CJ are the premier tube fender on the market - trail tested across the country. Our fenders are a full 100% bolt-on replacement part, take your stock fenders off and put ours on - no cutting of the stock fenders required. The other guys claim an enlarged wheel well opening, ours truely have it. We move the rear of the wheel well opening 4" closer to the firewall to actually give you the largest wheel opening possible. We remove the factory fender to firewall brace to accomplish this, the others maintain this bracket so how are their wheel openings bigger? They're not.

Our full replacement tube fenders do allow for the use of all stock under-the-hood accessories. Once the fenders are installed the components will tell you where they need to go and can be done with no more than simple hand tools and a drill. On some applications the use of a smaller radiator overflow may be necessary.

Only downfall is that they are $549.95 for the pair. But I think they look great and offer features that other tube fenders don't.

I've also found the MetalCloak Overline Fenders which look great. They also have a matching rear tube fender/armor to match the front but are also expensive. The fronts are $529.00 without the flare I believe.

Looks like a tube bender should be in your future. With that you could build your own, Then build others to make your money back. Those Metal Cloak ones sure are sexy though!
